Robert M. Derks, President of the Investment Center of Wisconsin, has been in the business since 1987 as a financial consultant. For over 20 years, Robert worked at A.G. Edwards/Wachovia, where he advised clients, managed branch offices (Brookfield/Oconomowoc), became Vice President of Corporation, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Investments. While at A.G. Edwards/Wachovia Robert was a consistent member of the President’s Council and Chairman’s Council.
Robert is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and received a full academic scholarship to Brandeis University where he earned his Masters in Fine Arts Degree in 1986. Robert holds the esteemed RFC® designation that is granted by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. To achieve and maintain this designation he met and exceeded stringent criteria that include experience, education, testing, business practices, code of ethics and continuing education. Robert has taught financial courses at the University of Wisconsin and other local colleges. Robert has travelled throughout the Midwest giving financial seminars and motivational speeches.
